There's a leadership labor that rarely gets named. If you’ve even been the person preparing for a board or committee meeting, you know how much effort it takes:
The document chase.
The late-night packet update.
Answering questions. Sending the link again. Making sure everyone has what they need.
That’s part of why I’m glad to share that CoSpire is now partnering with OnBoard! Our official Board Portal software partner is all about reducing administrative chaos, ensuring compliance and security, and automating repetitive, unnecessary tasks.

On the surface, this is a partnership about board and committee management software.
But underneath that, for me, it’s really about something more relatable.
It’s about solving for the human consequences when governance processes depends too heavily on memory, manual work, corralling scattered documents, or heroic administrators trying to keep everything moving.
It’s also about the repeated frustrations when trustees can’t easily find what they need. When the current version isn’t clearly marked as the current version. When reading materials ahead of time requires chasing down separate emails or texts. When finding the link to join the meeting feels harder than it should. When institutional knowledge lives mostly in people instead of systems.
Boards and committees also hold some of the most sensitive information about an organization: strategy, compensation, legal questions, financial decisions, institutional risk. This information is worth securing.
What I appreciate about OnBoard is that it was created meet all of those security and organizational challenges as one inter-linked platform with robust permissions and personalizations.
Bringing a board and committee management software to our circle is a way to support you and make at least one part of leading a nonprofit a little easier. If this is something you’ve been considering, use the link to just explore. Learn. Schedule a time. Talk it through. There is no obligation.
And if there is a way we can help you in the process, let us know.
In the coming weeks, we’ll share more about why this matters and what healthy, modern, governance can look like in practice on socials. If you're not already following us on LinkedIn, I invite you to do so! I've been enjoying the lively conversations there lately.
Until next month,
Janetta Cravens
